Chad attended Montana State University's Environmental Horticulture and Landscape Design program, finishing in 2001.  Since then, he has been active in the landscape industry throughout the Rocky Mountains. Chad is passionate about creating beautiful landscape environments, from running heavy equipment to the final annual flower placement. He truly enjoys what he does from start to finish and has won several Bozeman Beautification awards for projects that he has designed. 

When he’s not running the business, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. You can find them hiking, camping, or snowboarding at the local mountains.

Rhonda is truly inspired by nature and feels most at home in the mountains of Montana. She has a passion for plants and beautiful landscapes and believes a landscape should be an extension of the home and sanctuary that reflects the family. She is proud to provide clients with the landscape of their dreams.

Outside the office, Rhonda stays busy with her partner Chad, beloved children, and two loyal old dogs. She loves hiking (especially in Yellowstone), camping, gardening, and traveling.

Mark brings over 25 years of experience in the landscape industry to his position. He combines this experience with a bachelor’s degree in communication and a minor in business from Eastern Connecticut State University.

Prior to working with Outdoor Design Studios, Mark spent over a decade with a well-established New England based landscape firm, covering all aspects of landscape installation and maintenance. He also co-owned and operated a design-build landscape company for 6 years before making the move to Montana in 2016. Mark enjoys hiking, camping, fly-fishing, snowboarding, and being in the wilderness. His attention to detail and extensive knowledge in the landscape industry makes him a great fit here at ODS.

Jennifer Britton, PLA, CLARB,
ASLA

Jennifer brings over 18 years of experience across private practice, planning, public-sector projects, and university leadership within landscape architecture and multidisciplinary design.

She approaches design though strong conceptual thinking and a deep understanding of the relationship between landscape, architecture, and the way people experience place. Thoughtful environments that balance design quality, function, and a strong sense of connection to their surroundings are central to her design perspective, shaping spaces that feel refined, memorable, and deeply livable.

Devon Sweeney

Originally from northern Michigan, Devon has close to ten years in the landscaping industry. He has worked on and managed projects ranging from small one-day residential projects to full-scale commercial installations. Bringing an eye for detail and a mid-west work ethic, Devon aspires to not just complete installations, but to beautify homes and produce a meaningful, lasting impact on the daily comfort and enjoyment of homeowners.

Outside work, Devon enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, and all things Montana, including hiking, camping, hunting and skiing among many other outdoor pursuits.

Mikey Fregosi, ASLA

Mikey grew up in the Bay Area of California and moved to Montana to pursue his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Horticulture and Landscape Design at MSU. Before working with Outdoor Design Studios, Mikey worked in the field doing landscape construction and equipment operation in both Montana and Oregon. Mikey aims to expand his knowledge beyond the familiar residential designs and explore irrigation design and land planning.

In addition to his passion for landscaping, Mikey enjoys working on cars and spending time with family and friends. When he’s out of the office, Mikey spends his time skiing, mountain biking, and camping.
